Enrolment Details

At Anderson Adventist High School, candidates are not selected solely on academic ability. The resolve of the candidate and evident training from the parent are strong indicators in determining admission.

Application Timeline

Parents contact the Admissions Office (Tel: 054 223424 or email info@andersonadventist.ac.zw for an appointment to visit the school. The Admissions Office is open throughout the school year, Monday to Friday, except during public holidays.

Candidate students and their parents are given a tour of the school and information regarding the school’s programmes; there is an opportunity to meet a senior member of staff to ask any questions.

An Entrance Assessment Day with papers assessing English and Mathematics is held at Anderson Adventist High  on the first Saturday of July for pupils in Grade 7 (Year 8) for pre-registered pupils only.

Applicants must send in their IGCSE/O Level or equivalent examination results immediately upon receipt from the Examination Board. An A or A* grade in at least five subjects, with A/A* in the subjects to be studied at AS/A Level, are required. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, and a place will be offered if eligible.

Anderson Adventist  welcomes boys and girls of all nationalities and religions. Students will need to demonstrate that they are able to meet the standard required to access the curriculum as well as work cooperatively to ensure the success of everyone.

Application for admission is ongoing as long as we have positions available in the classes.

Anderson Anderson High School Admissions Office requires official copies (in English) of the candidate’s last three years academic records. Any other documents relating to the candidate’s academic / behavioral / medical background should be submitted in order for Anderson to ensure candidate’s successful participation in all aspects of life at Anderson.

Admission for the Early Years (Nursery and Kindergarten) will be based exclusively on the age of the child and the school assessment. Admission to Years 1 through 11 will be based on Anderson admissions assessment in English and Mathematics and an interview senior staff and a review of the student’s records.

Admission for Years 12 and 13 will be based on the grades attained up to the age of 16, an interview with the senior staff and the results of the Anderson English and Mathematics admissions assessments.
